October 16 -- Realization

While out walking the dog this morning, I saw a beautiful sky with tons of stars and no moon. Then I realized how great the viewing will be if we don't have clouds when we are on our field trip. We should see the Milky Way, etc., as there is very little light pollution just up the road from where we are staying. Note to self -- we must jump in the car and go see this. Make sure to bring a warm hat.
